WELCOME TO THE FINANCE & LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Financial literacy and the commerce field is a huge part of today's world and it's something that we strongly believe is lacking in the university community. Similarly, leadership is a core essential in any industry. Regardless of one’s area of studies, it is imperative that students learn about how they can save money, make wise investment decisions and learn about finance! However, oftentimes, finance seems daunting as it's riddled with jargon and technical terms that seem overwhelming for those not exposed to it. Similarly, learning to be a good leader is something that university students should be exposed to early on in our professional and personal lives.

The Finance and Leadership Council aims to help university students learn about commerce, managing their personal finances while also giving them opportunities to unlock their leadership potential. We believe that having a finance and leadership club would truly enhance opportunities available for students while also providing an avenue to meet like-minded peers.​
